The A and E Department was given a major cash boost of £17,500 from the League of Friends in 2010. This was provided to purchase four sets of special lead-lined workstations for the department's resuscitation room.

    The room dividers, trolleys and storage units will be used to increase the speed in which patients suffering from trauma and other serious injuries are treated.
